Cutting your Amaryllis right down to the bulb

Writer's picture: Louisette and PeterLouisette and Peter

Today we have a beautiful Amaryllis in the house it is absolutely stunning. After the flowers are gone you cut out the old flower stem right close to the bulb. You keep on watering until it is time to go outside. Then you plant it outside so the bulb can grow and it will bloom again next year. Some of the seeding’s from this weekend already show signs of life if you look close you can see the first roots coming out.
