Today we are seeding again now we have the perennials that need different treatment to germinate. We have some that need warm 20C first two weeks and then cold -4 to +4 for 4-6 weeks and then slowly climbing to 10C. This is to simulate summer and winter. It is a build in program in the seed, so that the seed only start in the spring outside. If you don’t do that the seed will stay dormant. Others have other requirements. There are a total of 20 different ways to wake up the seed and start to germinate. Come to the Enchanted Garden and we can tell you all about that. Our friends were helping us to clean up the old apple trees again this morning while we were eating breakfast.
